Maison officially started at Fort today in the Transition class. We have found that there is one draw back to Maison attending Fort....THE SHIRTS!! She fought every second I put it on her, pleaded her case to wear her Dora shirt, "what about Dora?", pleaded her case to wear any other shirt, and even went crying to Adam saying, "Daddy, off!" as she tugged on her Fort shirt. It's as if she knows they are a hideous shade of khaki, feel like a burlap sack, and are clearly made for short, chubby kids...not 3 ft tall 25 lb ones.
At least they can wear any navy bottoms they want and have free reign to accessorize with hair bows and the shoes of their choice. Also they do not have to wear uniforms on Friday. I can already hear Maison asking, 'What about Dora?" as soon as she wakes up!
